How Often Should You Seal Grout in Florida?

In Florida's high-humidity climate, grout should be sealed more frequently than in drier regions. High-moisture areas like showers and kitchens should be sealed every 6–12 months. Moderate-traffic areas like hallways need resealing every 12–18 months. Low-traffic areas can go 2–3 years. To test if your grout needs resealing, flick water droplets onto dry grout — if the water soaks in and darkens the grout, it's time to reseal. Treasure Coast Tile & Grout offers both color sealing (3–5 year protection) and clear sealing (1–3 years). Call (772) 879-5722.
